Does any one have any info on when the doors open for the Social D show at the glasshouse on July 30th?

I Think thats for when the show starts....but like ive been looking online and stuff and the glasshouse website is no help and they all say the show starts at 7 pm but when are they gonna start letting people in to the show thats like what im wondering

i happened to glance at Mike's feet at one point and noticed that he was wearing the loafer/ slipper shoes. so, if anyone was wondering (like that thread that was started a few months ago) "what type of shoes does mike wear?" he was sportin black slippers tonight.
also, i'm not sure if anyone noticed, but the rug in the middle of the stage is apparently "Mike Ness only." i've heard that if anyone comes into that area they are out of the band!
Brent Harding was rippin tonight, and it was a blast to see him so close (never been in front of him before). J2B was rippin as well, and had a sweet little jump in the middle of the show. Charlie's hair was all over the place with the fans blowin on him, and the lights made him look pretty gnarly. Danny McGough did a good job, and did a nice intro that's been done before to Under My Thumb. it was the first time i've heard it in person like that (compared to bootleg CD) so it was awesome to hear it.
they played Stranded here in Bakersfield tonight, which was pretty cool too. i was hopin to hear Diamond in the Rough, but i'll take Bakersfield.
the opening bands (in my opinion) didn't do it for me. i'm not one to criticize, but i just didn't find their music appealing, and Nine Black Alps seemed to be cocky and arrogant towards the end of their set. didn't really show too much class, and they could probably use some lessons regarding putting on a good performance. I Hate Kate wasn't too bad, but it's just not my style of music. i thought the lead singer was going to fall into the drums though, b/c he was leaping around like crazy. must be hard for him to play on such a small little area and move around like that.
sorry for the length of this post...but oh well. oh yeah, i asked the guys at the sound board if there was a recording tonight, and they told me no. too bad to, because Mike had some pretty funny quotes tonight... "sorry, i didn't hear you... I WAS TALKING!" and he also tried to do an impersonation of Kip from Napoleon Dynamite, "That sounds pretty cool, i guess..." i will say though, it was great to hear a show without Mike talking about being a pioneer, blah blah blah like he's been doing so much lately.
can't wait to see them again this winter!
that really was one of the better social D shows I think i have ever seen and at last count I have seen them 62 times. tonight in pomona the sound was good, the crowd was good with a lot of energy, but not too rowdy. The setlist was good and it wasnt too hot. the guys were tight. great job holding it together to Donny and the crew. Props.

Agree with you on the opening bands, same ones in Santa Cruz. Sucks we didn't get the Supersuckers, but can't complain is was a great Social D show.

It's Social D, not frikkin' Danzig!
The rug is because some stages tend to be slippery and it helps if Mike is doin' one of his infamous guitar-in-the-air-jumps.

Well, there's a guy in Fullerton that i kinda know, and Ness was a roadie in this dude's band YEARS ago. they're pretty good friends (showed me pictures and stuff of them together) and that's what he told me. (which is why i said 'apparently' instead of 'definately') i wasn't sure if it was true or not, but i was watching the show last night, and neither J2B or Brent Harding put a foot inside the carpeted square. not that it really makes a difference or anything.
oh yeah, i almost forgot. the guy also told me that back in the early to mid '90's, Dannell got so mad at the idea, that he also had a taped off area that "mike couldn't go into."
again, i don't know if this stuff is true or not, just information that was given to me.
